  • I wrote my first book! Weighing in at 305 pages and approximately 115,000 words, she's chonky. The idea to write this novel did not exist last summer. I was so anxious, waffling over what was probably the most difficult career decision of my life. But here I am, having put literally all of my schooling to the test. I created something that I am proud of, that I would want to read. A story only I can tell because I see it in my head all the time. What's next? Take a break and do a lot of reading and researching, so I can pick up The Fractured Prophet again and start editing in a few weeks. Whether you've been here since the beginning of my journey, or you just started following me, thank you!   • I will never NOT think of 'Throne of Glass' by SJM when I hear Taylor Swift's song 'Father Figure.' Undeniably, the art we consume colors the way we look at life. That's the dream for me! To create art that allows someone to see themselves and the world through a new lens. Sometimes, I imagine my reader hearing The Prophecy of Cassandra, and thinking fondly of my FMC, Kasira, the way I think of Aelin when listening to Showgirl.
